Administrative Pastor

David grew up in Baker, MT.  David and his family attended American Lutheran Church due to the influence of his adopted Grandparents.  This lifestyle continued throughout his college years. In 2006, he developed a personal relationship with Christ and became saved and baptized.   David attended DeVry University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. He obtained a job at Sandia National Laboratories as an Electrical Engineer.  He continued his education at the University of New Mexico and graduated with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.   While at DeVry, he met his wife, Sarah, and they married in 2003.  He and his wife have parented her two daughters, have two additional daughters, a son, and were foster parents for several years. David has served as a small group leader, youth leader, and minister to couples grieving the loss of their children. Pastor David, along with his family, joined the Atomic team during church planting planning and is currently the Administrative Pastor and oversees the sound team.

Pastoral Care

Sarah was raised by parents who lived a God-fearing life and promoted Christian beliefs for their children. Her foundation, as a child, is the reason she is an Ordained Pastor and Licensed Mental Health Therapist. In 2000, as a single mom of two girls, she met David and they married in 2003. Sarah and her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where her husband received a position at Sandia National Laboratories. They have had two more daughters, a son, and have fostered many children. Having grown deeper in her relationship with God, she served as a small group leader, youth leader, Youth Pastor, and ministered to couples grieving the loss of their children. In 2013, Sarah received her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Biblical Studies at Grand Canyon University and in 2017 her Master’s Degree of Science in Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University. Pastor Sarah, along with her family, joined the Atomic team during church planting planning and is currently the Care Pastor overseeing the Connect Groups Ministry, as well as, the leader of “31” Women’s Ministry.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:6-8)

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but as a result of sin is lost and powerless to save himself. (Genesis 1:26; Romans 6:23)

We believe that the only hope for man is to believe on Jesus Christ, the virgin-born Son of God, fully God, fully man. Through faith in Christ’s life, death and resurrection, mankind is redeemed. (Romans 10:9, 10, 13; John 3:16; Ephesians 2:1-10)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
(1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Peter 2:18-24; John 3:16)

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone. No amount of good works will produce justification before God. We further believe that the manifestation of grace and faith is a holy life expressed through righteous works.
(Romans 3:21-30; Galatians. 4:4-7; Ephesians 2:8-10)

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, and through the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, believers are empowered for Christian service and gifted for this service. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are active and necessary for today. (1 Corinthians 12)

We believe that eternal life in heaven is the reward of all who believe and receive Christ as their Lord. According to the Scriptures, “For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). “But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars – their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death” (Revelation 21:8)

We believe that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:18, John 5:6-14, 1 Peter 2:24)

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, both universal and local, and is composed of individuals who, through faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that Christ Jesus is the Head and Lord of the Church. The mission of the Church is worship, evangelism, discipleship and the nurturing and care of one another.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Colossians 1:18; Ephesians 2:19-22)

We believe in the imminent and personal return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 22:20, John 14:3)

Atomic's Governance

1. Guided By Pastors.
Atomic Church’s Pastoral Team and Team Impact Leaders are led by the Senior Pastors. Our Pastoral Team is here to serve the congregation and is responsible for ministering to the needs of Atomic Church members and responsible for the development of the spiritual life of the church. Team Impact Leaders are responsible for leading and growing the ministries of Atomic Church that God has appointed them to. The Senior Pastors Lead Team is comprised of the Core Leader Team that are elected from Leaders who currently serve.

2. Protected By Trustees.
The trustees are a board of non-staff overseers of the church appointed by the Founding and Senior Pastors to oversee the finances and operations of the church. They provide counsel to the Senior Pastor regarding the major financial commitments of the church.

3. Strengthened By A Spiritual Covering - Overseers.
The Spiritual Covering is a group of well-respected Christian ministers and leaders who have a heart for Atomic and its Pastors. This group serves as a source of accountability in our pastors’ lives and come to speak to the church family on occasion.

4. Financial Giving And Accountability.
We believe that God is the source of all things for Atomic! The God-given vision and impact of this church relies on the faithful stewardship and accountability of our resources and the partnership with our members through the giving of tithes and offerings. It has been a core value and conviction from the beginning that Atomic operates on a cash basis and as a debt-free ministry. As a church we are committed to advancing God’s Kingdom both locally and globally. Our vision is to minister to our congregation and its families, our communities and the nations. We sow thousands of dollars monthly into fulfilling this vision and as our vision grows we will continue to believe God to supply all of our needs and to invite our members to be involved in partnering in that vision.

Loving God. Loving People.
